An engineering college is going to be setup in Madhepura Bihar soon.
The Chief Minister of the state Mr. Nitish Kumar had promised to set up an engineering college in the town of Madhepura almost ten years ago while addressing the students of Madhepura on the occasion of the birth - anniversary of Late. B P Mandal.
The state government’s education department has finally fulfilled its promise by gifting the town with an engineering college.
All the preparations in order to get the approval of the All India Council for Technical Education to set up the engineering institute in Madhepura have been made. The college would be named B P Mandal Engineering College (BPMEC) building on the B N Mandal University campus which is under construction & classes would be held temporarily at a local school named SNPM High School.
DM Mr. Md Suhel, the acting principal Mr. Anil Kumar Singh & the Bhagalpur Engineering College (BEC) principal Mr. Nirmal Kumar had visited the SNPM High School building in the last week on 14th April 2016.
Both the principals of the colleges have been regularly coming to the college here to take stock of preparations for the coming academic session," said Mr. Suhel.
The Electrical apparatuses, desks, chairs & benches are likely to be delivered within a month 30 days from now, according to the reports.
