Anti - India slogans raised in JNU campus made news at national politics. ABVP, a leading student body protested in all india colleges and universities, including the ABVP unit of Kota inthe Kota Government College.
The matter was started with pro-Afzal guru event held on JNU campus earlier this week, prompting fierce protests from students and teachers in the university . On 13 February, 2016, the Delhi Police arrested JNU student union President Kanhaiya Kumar on sedition charges for the pro-afzal guru event. The ABVP student wing of Kota too stepped up protests against JNU event.
ABVP unit sah mantri kota mahanagar Mr. Abhilash Sharma told CollegeDekho that they are very angry for anti – national activities in JNU and warned to administration and government to do hard action to whom who’s are involved in anti-national activities in JNU campus. Sharma also warned that if administration does not take strict action against anti-national people who are involved in, they will protest in all over India.
