To obtain betterment in Round 2 counselling, the Round 1 cutoff can help you pick appropriate colleges to enter in the option form as follows:- Make a list of your preferred college-branch combinations.
- Arrange them in decreasing order of your priorities.
- Check out the round 1 cutoff for each college-branch combination.
- Both category-wise merit ranks and merit marks will be listed in the cutoff PDF. It is better to refer to the cutoff ranks instead of cutoff marks when referring to the cutoff for option form modification.
- In case your rank is in the similar range as that of the cutoff, the allotment chances are more at that institute-branch.
- However, if all your preferred colleges are above your rank range, it is best advised to add college-branches at your rank level to avoid non-allotment issues.
- It is also suggested to add at least 10 college-branch combinations in your option form.
