Adamas University celebrated National Technology Day recently . The celebration held at the main campus of the University near Barrackpore-Barasat High Way in Kolkata.
Adamas University was established by the Sachis Kiron Roy Memorial Trust (SKRMT) under The Adamas University Act, 2014 (West Bengal Act IV of 2014) passed by the West Bengal Legislature and approved by the Governor. The provisions of The Adamas University Act, 2014 have come into effect from April 11th, 2014 through a notification issued by the Government of West Bengal on the same date. With its campus located at Barasat, West Bengal, the University has commenced its classes from the academic session 2015-16 under five Faculties of Studies, namely the following: Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Commerce and Management
The University has been established with the vision of providing quality education to students to help them become professionally competent as well as academically knowledgeable. It is expected to act as a centre of excellence, drawing students from both India and abroad. The University has already reached to an upper height with its excellent and dedicated faculty members and with its ever-enthusiastic and motivated students.
The students and faculty members were super excited to celebrate the event. They celebrated it with joy and with a pledge in their heart to achieve a new excellence.
