The Engineering admission counselling at Koneru Lakshmaiah University was commenced on 19-May-2016. The counselling received a grand response as a total number of 1,600 students attended the counselling. The candidates along with their parents attended the counselling irrespective of heavy rains. The counselling was held in the morning and afternoon session.
In the morning session SC, ST and OBC candidates attended the counselling. A total number of 900 students registered in the morning session. In the afternoon session students of open category attended the counselling. A total number of 700 students registered in the afternoon session. On the first day most of the candidates registered for CSE. There is a huge demand for CSE course at University. The candidates who failed to attend counselling on the first day due to heavy rain can attend the counselling on or before 24-May-2016.
University Vice-Chairman, Haveesh has given the admission letters to the Top-5 rankers of CSE. There was a heavy rush at University on the first day moreover heavy rain caused a lot of disruption in counselling. The counselling took place till 6.30 PM in the evening due to continuous delay of internet due to rain.
