Institute of Bioinformatics & Applied Biotechnology (IBAB), Bangalore invites applications for admission to Master of Science (M.Sc) program offered in Bioinformatics & Applied Biotechnology for the commencing session 2016
Eligibility Criteria
Applicant should have completed a bachelor’s degree (BTech, BE, BSc, MBBS, BDS, BPharm, BAMS) in any subject of science/technology such computer science, chemistry, pharma, physics, mathematics, statistics, biotechnology, zoology, botany, biochemistry, microbiology, agriculture, medicine, dentistry or veterinary sciences. Students who are expected to complete their course by June/early July 2016 are also eligible.
The applicant is required to obtain at least 50% (overall) in his/her BACHELOR’S degree.
There is no age bar for applying in the examination.

Application fees is Rs. 500/-.
Application fee can be paid through cash, NEFT or by a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of ‘Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology’ payable at Bengaluru.
Selection Procedure
First round of selection is by a simple, multiple choice online entrance test that can be taken from any place
Second round of selections is via an interview at IBAB.
Only candidates who qualify in the entrance test will be called for an interview at Bangalore.

Last date for online application: Monday, May 09, 2016.
Date of online entrance test: Wednesday, June 01, 2016 to Friday, June 03, 2016.
Date of interview: Monday, June 27, 2016 to Saturday, July 02, 2016.
