Admission Notice- JKLU Invites Applications for the Engineering Programs 2016

JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU), Jaipur invites applications for admission to 4 years Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), 2 years Master of Technology (M.Tech), 5 Years dual degree program B.Tech+M.Tech & B.Tech+MBA (Master of Business Administration) and 3 years B.Tech lateral entry programs offered in various disciplines for the academic session 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for-

B.Tech/ B.Tech+M.Tech/ B.Tech+MBA

Candidates should have passed in 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate(45% for SC/ST Candidates) and minimum 50% marks or equivalent in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the four optional courses (Biology, Bio - technology, Chemistry, Computer Science) from a recognized Central/State Board/University Examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Students appearing in the final examination of 10+2 may also apply.

B.Tech lateral entry Programs: Diploma holders (3-year polytechnic program by a recognized Institute) in any program of Engineering (offered by JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur) with minimum of 45% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate are eligible.

M.Tech Programs:

Candidate should have graduation degree in B.E./B.Tech. with at least 55% marks or 6.25 CGPA in 10.0 point scale (50% marks or 5.75 CGPA in the case of SC/ST candidates) from a recognized University.

Foreign Nationals (FN)/Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Non-Resident Indian (NRI) candidates can be considered for admission on the basis of their marks in bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent examination/their performance in GRE (Graduate Record Examination).

How to Apply-

To obtain the application form and prospectus, applicants should send a demand draft for Rs. 1,000/- (US$ 50 or Rs. 3000/- in the case of FNIPIOINRI) drawn in favour of “JK Lakshmipat University” payable at Jaipur or photocopy of a deposit slip for Rs. 1,000/-(USS 50 or Rs. 30001- in the case of FN/PIO/NRI) in the account No. 0273102000012616 of JK Lakshmipat University in any branch of 'IDBIBank' and addressed to "The Director, Institute of Engineering and Technology, JK Lakshmipat University, Near Mahindra SEZ, Mahapura, Ajmer Road, Jaipur 302 026, Rajasthan, INDIA".

Candidates can also download application form and send the filled in application form along with a demand draft of Rs.1000/-.

Application forms can also be directly obtained from the Institute.

Selection Procedure for-

B.Tech/B.Tech+M.Tech/B.Tech+MBA Programs-

First preference shall be given to the candidates having their merit on the basis of score in JEE Main 2016 conducted by CBSE.

Further in case of vacant seats remaining, the admission shall be made on the basis of merit in qualifying examination considering all subjects as per the eligibility.

M.Tech Programs-

Preference will be given to GATE qualified students.
