Lucknow University is inviting applications for admission to the 540 seats of nine Masters in Business Administration (MBA) programmes for the academic session 2016. The graduates from any stream are eligible to apply. The online admission would commence on Friday and the completed application forms need to be submitted by March 31.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidates with bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST) can apply for the programmes. Although provisional admissions are allowed in case of incomplete UG results, the candidates need to submit the final mark sheet by July 16.
Admission Procedure
The selection would be done on the basis of the CAT as well as the LUMAT score. Candidates who have appeared in the CAT would have to appear for the personal interview based on the combined merit list declared by LU, while the candidates who do not have a CAT score would have to appear for the LUMAT and the personal interview.
The Examination Centres
The LUMAT2106 exam would be held at the proposed centres at Lucknow, Bhopal, Varanasi, Noida, Delhi, North East and Patna.
The Examination Fee
For the General/OBC candidates the application fee is Rs 1500 and for SC/ST candidate it is Rs 1000. The payment of fee can be done online or through cash at any of the ICICI Bank branches.
