Admission Notice- SU Engineering Programs 2016 Announced

Sathyabama University, Chennai has invited application for admission to 4 years Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) and 5 years Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) programs in various disciplines for the session 2016-17.

Eligibility Criteria

For B.E Programs: Candidates should have passed pass in the 10+2 / HSC/ ICSE or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry with an average of 60% marks and above (in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry).

For B.Tech Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, and Biomedical Programs:

Candidates should have passed in the 10+2/ HSC/ ICSE or equivalent examination with Biology / Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry with an average of 60% marks and above(in Biology / Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry).

The candidate opting for this program should appear for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in the entrance examination.

For B.Arch Program:

Candidates should have passed in the 10+2 / HSC/ ICSE or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with a minimum average of 60% marks (in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry) and a valid NATA marks (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) with an average of 80 marks out of 200.

The candidate opting for this program should appear for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in the entrance examination.

Selection Procedure

Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam conducted by the university.

The candidates will be shortlisted and called for counseling, based on their performance in the entrance examination.

How to Apply

Candidates can buy the application form on payment of Rs. 1000/- at major Indian Bank Branches throughout India and Our University Campus. Filled in applications should be sent to "The Co-ordinator, Sathyabama University, Jeppiaar Nagar, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Chennai 600119".

Application forms may also be obtained through post by sending a request letter along with a demand draft for Rs.1100/- drawn in favor of Sathyabama University, payable at Chennai.

Candidates can apply online of the University.

Important Dates

Last date for receipt of application forms: Thursday, March 31, 2016.

Date of entrance exam: Saturday, April 16, 2016, to Sunday, April 24, 2016.
