Shivaji University has started the process of entrance exams for the year 2016-17.Shivaji University Yashwantrao Chavan School of Rural Development M.B.A. (Rural Management, M.S.W in Rural Community Development, M.Tech. (Rural Technology),M.C.A. (Rural Informatics), M.R.S. (Master of Rural StudiesEntrance examination's schedule has been announced.
The entrance test will have three parts. The Part A and Part B are common for all five courses. [M.S.W in Rural Community Development, M.B.A, M.Tech., M.R.S.and M.C.A. Part C will remain course specific.
Syllabus for the Part A and Part B -
A) General Knowledge and Aptitude, for 50 marks. (Multiple Choice Questions i.e. MCQs)
B) General Communication in English and Knowledge of Soft Skills, for 50 marks. (MCQs)

Group Discussion and Personal Interview [G.D.P.I.]
All candidates obtaining 60 marks out of 150 marks (Test components of A, B and C
noted above) shall become eligible for Group Discussion (G.D.) and Personal Interview (P.I.)
Test of 50 (G.D. 25 + P.I. 25) marks. A Merit list of the candidates appearing for Entrance Test
will be notified on the University Website before the conduct of G.D. and P.I. Test.
Date of Examination : 10th May 2016
- Last Date for the receipt of the application for Entrance Examination: 16th April 2016.
- With Late Fees of Rs. 100/- per subject, up to 21st April 2016.
- With Super Late Fees of Rs. 500/- per subject, up to 25th April 2016
