On May 22, 2017, the University of Delhi opened the online application process for merit-based UG courses. The deadline to complete the registration process is June 12, 2017. The varsity is conducting admission process for 77 colleges that come under the University of Delhi. However, two colleges of Delhi University or DU carry out their admission process independently, namely St. Stephen’s and Jesus & Mary College (JMC) .
The aspirants who wish to apply for UG courses at St. Stephen’s and JMC will have to make note of two things. Firstly, the candidates need to complete the online registration process for DU Admissions 2017. Secondly, the candidates need to visit the official website of these two colleges and fill the online application form separately. Here, the candidates must note one that JMC provides admission to only women candidates.

It is mandatory for the aspirants to fill the online application process for DU Admissions 2017. The candidates who fail to fill the application or DU centralised admissions will not get a chance to get admission in St. Stephen’s or JMC.
St. Stephen’s College conducts aptitude test and written test for the shortlisted candidates. The college gives 85% weightage to Class 12 marks, 5% and 10% to the aptitude test and interview respectively.

St. Stephen’s College reserves 50% of seats for Christian candidates. The rest of the seats are reserved for the candidates belonging to general, SC/ST and PWD categories.
On the other hand, Jesus & Mary College releases cut-off lists on the official website. The allocation of the seat is based on the qualifying marks of the candidates in Class 12 and the cut-off score of the college.
