The Andhra Pradesh Government conducted a grand Agricultural Fair in Vijayawada on 4th February 2016 in a grand manner. Around 140 students from 70 different colleges of Krishna, Guntur and prakasham districts participated in the event. They set up various stalls describing the importance of Organic Farming. Houourable Agricultural Minister Sri Prathi Paati Pulla Rao inaugrated the Fair and he visited all the all the 70 stalls of students.
He said that Organic Farming is one the best ways to protect the soil from harmful pesticides and insecticides. He opined that in the next couple of years the Andhra Pradesh government is planning to introduce Organic Farming to some extent.
Students displayed various agricultural goods which were cultivated on the basis of Organic Farming. A Gauva which weights around 1 Kilo was the major highlight.
Students also displayed a Mechanical Milk Cluster which attracted the viewers. Students explained each and every thing in a practical way.
The students also displayed hundreds of varities of flowes, plants and seeds. Students from various schools and colleges around the city visited the Agricultural Fair and congratulated the students. Certificates which were signed by Chief Ministed Sri Chandra Baabu Naidu were distributed to the students.
