AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Monster India with an objective to provide job opportunities to students and freshly graduated candidates across the country. Through this vital MoU, Monster India will act as an interface among colleges, students and recruiters by empowering institutes approved by AICTE. The company will map students’ talent in educational institutes and provide them with relevant and good job opportunities.
According to MoU between Monster India and AICTE, the company will monitor and manage campus recruitment activities of around 10,360 colleges approved by the AICTE with an intake capacity of over 36 lakh students. Students from different streams including pharmacy, management, hotel management & catering, engineering & technology, architecture and town planning can take part in the recruitment drives.

Apart from creating and managing the platform, Monster India will also provide a facility for practice tests in order to check employability, figure out skill gaps through proper assessment and suggest proactive measures to overcome it. These practice tests include two aspects – core subject related and general attitude. Currently, these tests are available for engineering stream, and others will be added soon.
The MoU is a part of AICTE’s constant efforts towards improving campus placements and ensure maximum employer participation. The collaboration between Monster India and AICTE will be extremely beneficial for students and freshers seeking career opportunities.
