All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has planned to announce the results of AIIMS MBBS 2017 examination on June 14, 2017. However, the declaration of results is uncertain due to probe on the paper leak. AIIMS MBBS 2017 examination took place on May 28, 2017. After the examination, there were allegations that the question paper of the entrance examination was leaked. On May 31, 2017, AIIMS had constituted a committee to look into the issue. Dr. Anand Rai, an activist who exposed the Vyapam scam was the first person to raise complaints about the paper leak.

If the results are delayed now, the counselling process that will take place in three phases might also be delayed. The first phase counselling process is expected to begin in July. Until the issue regarding the paper leak is sorted out, AIIMS may not declare the results of MBBS entrance examination.
Earlier, the administration of AIIMS assured that they would take the matter as the top priority. The authorities also informed the Crime Branch of Delhi Police regarding the paper leak. The issue came into limelight when Mr. Anand Rai posted the images of AIIMS MBBS 2017 question paper on Twitter. He further explained that the paper was leaked in Lucknow. The leak took place in one of the exam centres in Lucknow. He also sought CBI inquiry on the issue.

The snapshots of question papers revealed by Mr. Anand Rai indicate that the question paper was leaked while the exam was in progress. He also alleged that the seats in MBBS programme were being sold.
