Lucknow based APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University and IndiaMART, India’s largest online marketplace has announced signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote skill development. Under the MoU it also intends to offer equal employment opportunities to University's affiliated colleges.
So it will be a win-win situation for all as now the students will be students from the colleges falling under its umbrella will be able to grab employment opportunities during the pool-campus placement drives. According to estimates, this move will benefit more than four lakh students.

Along with job opportunities, hands-on training will be also be made available to under-graduate and post-graduate students studying B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA.
According to Dinesh Agarwal, CEO of IndiaMART, about 700 candidates have been hired by IndiaMART from AKTU over the span of last four years and they look forward to this as the professionals selected had immense knowledge in fields of product management, technology and sales. Also the students are provided with training in digital space if they require any. He also said that by providing a holistic and job-centric learning environment to the students, the skill gap in the industry can be filled.

Regarding the same, Vinay Kumar Pathak who is the Vice Chancellor at AKTU commented that they are happy as this is a path-breaking association for AKTU which will not only provide the students with good job opportunities but will also help them grow with the help of the training provided by India MART.
