The Department of English at Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology organized an one day National Seminar on "Emerging Trends in English Language" on 11-March-2016 . The seminar was inaugrated by College Director, Rev.Fr.Fancis Xavier.
Around 55 students from 25 colleges came to present their paper. The key speaker was Prof.Mohan Raj Satruvalli, EFLU, Hyderabad .
Addressing the students he said that "Now-a-days English language has gained more prominence in the Global world. It is very much essential for the students to develop excellent communication skills in English for the bright future". Speaking on the theme he said that the lanuguage has been undergoing many changes due to the advancement ot technology.
40 delagates from various states were present to present their papers. Key Speaker Shri.Mohan Raj distributed the prizes to the winners of literary competitions.
The seminar was attended by Department Faculty, Students of various colleges and eminent scholors. The seminar ended with the release of a book on the theme of the seminar.
