The placement season at different Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) is in full swing. The first phase placements at IITs have been completed, and there have been a lot of updates from these engineering institutes regarding the number of job offers being rolled out to students along with the attractive packages at which they are being hired.
The rigorous recruitment process at IITs began on 1st December 2018. A variety of companies had registered to take part in placements of the IITs, including big giants as well as start-ups. As per reports, it was already expected that the companies are likely to roll out great offers for students across all B.Tech and M.Tech streams, be it Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Civil Engineering (CE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Automobile Engineering (AE) and so on and so forth.

So far, this year, it has been observed that the number of international offers has increased as compared to previous years. Companies such as Microsoft, Apple etc. and other Japanese, South-Korean, Taiwanese, Singapore-based are hiring talent from the prestigious IITs while rolling out big shot packages to candidates.
Placements officials of the IITs have been reported saying that students are also keen on opting for jobs in Asian countries as the cost of living is less as compared to the West. Further, they believe that the opportunities and avenues to grow professionally are plenty in Asia.
