The junior students of AM Reddy Pharmacy College bid a grand farewell to the senior students of the college on 4-April-2016 . The chief guest on this occasion was, Dr.Nagarju, Professor, Padmavathi women’s University . College principal Atluri Shanthi delivered a welcome address which was followed by a classical dance.
Addressing the students Dr.Nagaraju spoke about “Career options for Pharma Students”. he said, “There are a lot of employment opportunities for pharma students not only in medicine companies but also in pharma vigilance, medical coding, transcription and drug regulatory affairs. Students have to explore various career opportunities rather than depending upon only a single option. Extensive knowledge of medicines, its side effects, and positive effects are very much essential to excel in pharma field. Students have to cultivate research attitude to develop the extensive knowledge in the field of study”. He appreciated the efforts of college in assuring 100% placement to the students. He mentioned special appreciation to the college faculty for their dedicated hard work in bringing out hidden talents of students.
Addressing the students’ college chairman, G. Chandra Shekar said that, “Students have to develop self-confidence and they should possess self-esteem to excel in career”. The chief guest was felicitated by the college management and faculty. Later prizes were distributed to the meritorious students of final year.
The final year students came forward to share their experiences in the college and greeted the juniors for the bright career. Cultural programs commenced later and students performed various forms of classical dance and western dance.
