To inspire students from the cinema and media industry, Anand Pandit of Anand Pandit Motion Pictures has introduced the Amitabh Bachchan Media Scholarship that will motivate students to move ahead in the industry.
The scholarship will be awarded to selected students who will be shortlisted based on a thorough selection process. Students will be tested for their creativity and talent.
Speaking about the scholarship, Anand said that there couldn’t be a better inspiration for students in this field other than Amitabh Bachchan. He also said that it is a means to immortalize the superstar.
The scholarship for 2016 has been awarded to Shradha Thorat of the Whistling Woods International, Subhash Ghai’s film institute. She was given the Amitabh BachchanMedia Scholarship trophy and winner’s certificate along with a cheque of Rs. 5 lakh

Talking about the essence of creativity in the cinema and media industry, the legendary actor, Amitabh Bachchan said that students will have to break the boundaries of creativity and set new ones. He hoped that the scholarship will encourage students to boost creativity. He also expressed his gratification for the honor that was bestowed upon him.
Anand Pandit said that there is a need to bring young and fresh talent in the film industry. He hoped that the iconic start is the right inspiration for aspiring students.
