The Department of Commerce, Andhra Loyola College is organising a two-day commerce fest ‘Bemus-16’. The inaugural session took place in a grand style on September 19, 2016, at the college auditorium. The fest was inaugurated by lightening the lamp. Rector, Fr S Raju delivered the welcome address. It is a national level commerce fest where commerce students from various colleges across the country participate.

Rev Fr S Melchoir, Chairman of the event said that a total number of 40 colleges across the country have registered for various competitions. He mentioned that more than 500 students are expected to participate on the second day. The fest will conclude on September 20, 2016.

On the first day, various competitions were conducted for the students. The students are divided into two categories. Intermediate students are allowed to take part in state-level competitions whereas Undergraduate students are allowed to participate in the national level competitions. Students actively participated in Quiz and Product Launching on the first day. Cultural competitions will be conducted on the second day where students will be able to showcase their talent.
