The officials of the University mentioned that most of the B.Ed colleges failed to submit the proposed fee structure. The counselling has also been postponed due to 'Krishna Pushkaralu' which will be beginning from August 12.
This year, around 9500 candidates took the EDCET examination. The response to the examination was poor. Candidates did not show interest in B.Ed course as the duration of the course has increased to two years as compared to the previous pattern of one year.
The candidates need to attend the counselling in the respective helpline centres in their districts along with the necessary documents.
Also, the candidates are facing difficulty in accessing the website of EDCET. The website is under maintenance and the issue has not been resolved for the past three days.
