AP HRD Minister, A. Suresh announced that the final-year exams of universities and colleges will be conducted as per the UGC guidelines. As UGC released guidelines to conduct final-year exams, AP Government has directed universities to conduct exams by September 30. You can check the revised guidelines here.

The Higher Education Department of Andhra Pradesh will soon issue an official notification with regard to the final semester exams for Degree (BA/ B.Sc/ B.Com), B.Tech, PG and other professional courses. The Department discussed the possibilities of conducting final semester exams with the VCs of all state universities. Students will not be promoted on the basis of performance in previous semesters.
The final decision has been taken in this regard. The Department of Higher Education, Andhra Pradesh will comply with the guidelines issued by UGC.
Apart from the final year, the state government has postponed exams for first, second/ third-year students. The exams for these students may be conducted after the reopening of colleges and universities. The decision whether to conduct exams or not shall be taken after the commencement of the academic session.

The academic session 2020-21 for Degree, PG, B.Tech and other professional courses will begin soon. Initially, online classes will take place for all these courses. For first-year students, the academic session may begin in September.
