The Government of Andhra Pradesh is planning to conduct online examination for all the Common Entrance Tests (CETs). For this purpose, the Department of Higher Education has appointed committees for various CETs. The committees will meet in the first week of September and discuss the plan. Mr. Raghu Nadh, Special Officer, said that the plan is to issue notification for all entrance tests by December. The process for the online examination has to be completed in advance.

So far, the Andhra Pradesh government has been conducting all the entrance tests offline. There weren’t enough examination centres to carry out online tests. On the other hand, the leakage of Telangana EAMCET 2 question paper made the government conduct the online examination.

The online exams will be carried out for following CETs:-
- ECET
- PGECET
- ICET
- EDCET
- LAWCET
- PGLCET
- EAMCET and
- PECET
This year, the online exam was conducted for DEECET and was successful. The online exams will not give any scope for leakage of question papers in advance. The evaluation and declaration of results will be easy.
