The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Andhra University has announced admissions for evening diploma courses. The department has opened the admissions for Diploma in Soft Skills and Diploma in Photography courses. Students who are pursuing different courses at Andhra University and affiliated colleges can join these courses. Interested students must note that their regular classes will not be disturbed and timings of evening diploma courses and regular courses will not clash.
The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication further clarified that the varsity has decided to discontinue Diploma in Journalism course from the academic year 2018-19. However, the department did not specify the exact reasons for the discontinuation of the course.

The duration of Diploma courses in Soft Skills and Photography is six months and the students will have to pay Rs. 10,000 towards course fee while taking admission. The basic qualification required to join evening diploma courses offered by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication is Intermediate (Class 12).
Candidates who wish to join these courses must visit the Directorate of Admissions (DOA), Andhra University to obtain the application form. Interested students in Andhra University affiliated colleges can obtain the application form from the college office. The candidates must fill the application form carefully and submit it at the DOA office of Andhra University/ affiliated college on or before August 06, 2018.
