Andhra University is planning to set up three new facilities on the campus. The following new facilities will soon come up on campus:-
- Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering to get J.C Bose Block with four new classrooms.
- South Campus to get a new Hospital Block
- T.L.N. Sabha will be revamped, and an attached dining hall will be set up

T.L.N Sabha has a long history. The first State Assembly session was held here in the year 1954. During the HudHud cyclone in the year 2014, T.L.N Sabha suffered a severe loss. Later, the varsity gathered the funds and started to reconstruct the hall with Rs. 42 lakh. The new hall will have a seating capacity of 250 along with an air-conditioner. The hall will also have dining space and two additional rooms.

J.C Bose Block will have four spacious rooms, and it can accommodate a total number of 450 students. Currently, the old block of Electronics Departments have 1,200 students, and some of the students will be shifted to J.C Bose Block once the construction is completed. The new block is being constructed at the cost of Rs. 1 crore.
Vice-Chancellor of AU, Prof. Nageswararao revealed that the University Grants Commission had granted a sum of Rs. 70 lakh for the rest of the facilities. A new hospital on the south campus will be ready by 2018 which will have a team of specialists as well as a resident doctor. Currently, the ground floor of the hospital is nearing completion. There will be ten beds on the ground floor. Later, the first floor of the hospital will be constructed with 40 beds.
