CBSE has started displaying on their website, the answer keys along with the scanned images of the OMR answer sheets and their recorded responses, for the candidates who appeared in UGC – NET July 2016 held on 10 th July 2016. The displaying process will continue from September 2 nd to September 9 th .

UGC – NET exam is conducted by CBSE twice a year on behalf of UGC. This year the exam was held nationwide on July 10 th and August 28 th in Srinagar. Usually, the exam is held in the month of June. Since the display will remain on the official website for about a week, the candidates have to verify the answer keys as per the date of examination they have appeared for. For future reference, candidates are advised to take following prints out-
- Images of OMR sheets
- Recorded response
- Answer keys
- Challenges submitted by students
If any candidate wants to challenge the recorded responses, provided the answer differs from the one they had already marked in the examination on the OMR sheet, for that they have to pay Rs. 1000/- per recorded response challenged at the website of CBSE.

The candidates are also allowed to challenge the answer keys through the link of the website in the same period of time, that is, from 02/09/2016 to 09/09/2016 with fee amount of Rs. 1000/- per question through credit card, e-challan,or debit card. Both the fees are not refundable once it's paid. In the case of candidate's claim turns out to be true, the fee will be refunded and the correction will be done to their OMR sheet’s response.
For the first time, UGC has started releasing scanned response of the OMR sheet. The result of UGC NET or CBSE NET 2016 is supposed to be released in October.
