Hundreds of students alleged that they failed in the examination due to goof-up in scanning the answer booklets. After the complaints, the University had to evaluate the exam paper manually. As a result, the declaration of the examination was delayed by several months.
But with advancement in technology, and introduction of sophisticated data evaluation mechanisms, University of Mumbai is hopeful that implementation online answer assessment will help advance the evaluation process of answer scripts.
