Mr. Ganta Srinivasarao, HRD Minister of Andhra Pradesh has released the results of AP-ECET 2017 examination on May 15, 2017, at the State Guest House, Vijayawada. This year, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur conducted the AP-ECET examination for the admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry course. The candidates who completed their Diploma in Polytechnic registered for this examination.
Giving details about the pass percentage and toppers, HRD Minister of the state revealed that JNTU-A had conducted the examination on May 3, 2017. This year, a total number of 30,877 candidates qualified in the examination out of 32,900 candidates who appeared for the same. The overall pass percentage for AP-ECET 2017 was 93.85 percent. Out of the qualified candidates in AP-ECET 2017, 25,146 were boys, and 5,731 were girls.

Among the various districts of Andhra Pradesh, Krishna district stood in the third place in pass percentage. A total number of 4,486 candidates from Krishna district appeared for the examination. Out of them, 4,245 candidates passed the examination. The overall pass percentage was 94.63.
The officials of JNTU-A were also present on the occasion. HRD Minister congratulated all the qualified candidates. He further announced that AP-ECET 2017 counselling would begin soon. The official schedule of AP-ECET 2017 counselling will be available on the official website of SCHE-AP soon.

The AP-ECET 2017 qualified candidates need to make all the documents ready for the counselling process.
JNTU-A conducted the examination in 13 streams. Among them, 11 are engineering streams, and two are Pharmacy and B.Sc Mathematics.
