AP Inter Result 2022 - The results for AP Inter 1st Year and 2nd Year Results 2022 have been released on June 22 . In order to avoid inconvenience to students seeking UG admission in other states, the Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education (BIEAP) has come up with a solution to include both marks and grades in AP Inter Results 2022 just like the previous years.

AP Inter Marks and Grading System 2022
In order to avoid a hassle-free admission process for AP Intermediate passouts in other states, the board has decided to declare the grades and marks in the mark sheet. The marks will be calculated out of 100, and the grades will be allocated accordingly.
Three years back, the grading system was implemented in AP Inter Exams where the board declared grades instead of marks. The idea was to avoid any sort of stress on students with regard to marks, as there were many instances of students committing suicide for scoring fewer marks in the exams.
However, the grading system turned to be a failure, as top universities that offer UG admission across the country accept only marks in their respective application forms. Even though inter-board gives data on grade vs marks, it had become difficult for universities to convert grades into marks.

AP Inter Passing Criteria 2022
- To pass the examination, a candidate must get the minimum marks set by the Board, i.e. 40 marks.
- The passing marks for subjects which don't have any practical exams are 30% of the overall marks.
- In addition, passing marks for subjects with practical exams are 30% for the theory section and 40% for the practical section.
- Students must pass both the theory and practical aspects of the board examinations in order to pass in AP Board Class 10th and 12th Exams 2022.
AP Inter Grace Marks Criteria 2022
For A, B, and C grades, the grace marks will be 5%, 4%, and 3% of the highest marks for papers, respectively. The purpose will be to give the candidate the minimum marks to be declared pass (Grade D). Grace marks are often given to students who have a 75% overall grade but need fewer than 10% in one subject to pass.

Highlights of AP Inter Results 2020
AP Inter Results 2020 has been released. This year, almost 10 lakh candidates appeared for the AP Inter exams 2020. The minister has warned all the college to not publish the toppers list. The pass percentage for the first year is 59%, and the pass percentage for the second year is 63%.
The grades for second year will be mentioned in the mark sheet. The marks memo can be downloaded from the official site soon.
