The Andhra Pradesh Pharma counselling for the candidates who have qualified in EAMCET (Bi.Pc) examination will commence from 15-July-2016. The EAMCET (Bi.Pc) examination was held on 15-May-2016. The examination is conducted every year for admission into pharmacy courses in various colleges of Andhra Pradesh.
This year, a total number of 90,114 students took the exam out of which 75,681 students have qualified in the examination. The verification of certificates will commence from 15-July-2016 and will continue till 17-July-2016 . The process of choosing web options will also be done simultaneously with the verification of certificates and will end on 18-July-2016 . The seats will be allotted on 20-July-2016 . The counselling will be conducted across 13 helpline centres of Andhra Pradesh. The candidates can attend the counselling at any of the helpline centres.
There are 80 B.Pharmacy Colleges in Andhra Pradesh which are offering a total number of 2,060 seats under convenor quota. There are 30 D.Pharmacy Colleges in AP which is offering a total number of 330 seats under convenor quota. Only 42 seats are available for Biotechnology . The government has also hiked the fee for pharmacy courses recently.
