The Andhra Pradesh POLYCET examination was held on 27-April-2016 across 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh. The students have been eagerly waiting for the POLYCET key. The Department of Technical Education released the POLYCET-2016 key on 2-May-2016 . A total number of 1, 32,385 students attended the examination. The examination was held across 333 centers in Andhra Pradesh. The ranks will be declared on 7-May-2016. This year the POLYCET examination was conducted at Vijayawada as a main hub. The counselling will be conducted in the first week of June.
The Director of DTE, Mr.N. Nirmal Kumar has released the key of the examination. He said, “This year POLYCET evoked a good response compared to last year. The ranks will be declared on 7-May-2016. The government is yet to decide the date for counselling. Students who secured seats in the Government Polytechnic Colleges have to pay Rs.3800 as course fee. Candidates who secure ranks between 1-1000 will have a chance to study in the Government Polytechnic Colleges. Whereas candidates who secure ranks beyond 1000 can join in private colleges through counselling by paying Rs.15,500 as course fee”.
This year there were no mistakes in the question paper and the answer key contains answers for 4 sets of question paper.
