The Andhra Pradesh POLYCET-2016 examination was held peacefully across the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh on 27-April-2016. A total number of 1, 32,385 students attended the examination. The examination was held across 333 centers in Andhra Pradesh. Students who were late by one minute and more were allowed into examination centers. The ranks will be declared on 7-May-2016. The counselling will be conducted in the first week of June. Official announcement is yet to be made. A total percent of 95.97 students appeared for the examination.
A total number of 8943 students appeared for the POLYCET in Guntur district. The examination was held across 20 examination centers of Andhra Pradesh. The examination commenced at 11.00 AM and continued till 1.00 AM. The department of technical education took necessary steps for the smooth conduction of the examination. 4 sets of question papers were prepared. No student got the same set of question paper.
Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation ran special buses for AP POLYCET students. Parents escorted their children to the examination centers. However students felt bit a uneasy due to the extreme heat wave. Parents opined that, “It would be better if the government changes the examination timings from the next year”.
The POLYCET Answer key will be released on 3-May-2016.
