Education Department of Andhra Pradesh has revised the exam pattern for SSC (Class10) exams. The new exam pattern of Andhra Pradesh Class 10 th will be applicable for the board exams that will be conducted from July 10 2020 . AP SSC New Exam Pattern for July Exam 2020
The government has decided to conduct only six papers instead of eleven. There will not be a second paper in exams that will begin from July 10, 2020. The question paper will have equal marks for Paper 1 and Paper 2 syllabus. Both papers will be merged into one paper. Each exam will be conducted for 100 marks. Students will have to study both paper 1 & 2 syllabus. The model question papers as per the new exam pattern have been released on May 16, 2020. New hall tickets for the exam will be issued soon.

AP SSC (Class 10) New Exam Pattern 2021
From 2020 AP SCC Class 10 exams, there is no bit-paper. The question paper will be for 100 marks. Except for Hindi subject, all other subjects will have two papers, i.e., Paper I and Paper II. Each student should score 35 marks (combined Paper 1 and 2) to pass the exam. If a student gets 10 marks in Paper 1 and 25 marks in Paper 2, he/ she will be declared pass in the respective subject.
Internal Assessment Scrapped in AP SSC Class 10 Exams 2021
The internal assessment has been scrapped in AP SSC (Class 10) exams. Earlier, there was an internal assessment for 20 marks in Class 10 exams. From the academic session 2019-20, there will be no internal assessment, and the exam will be conducted for 100 marks.
AP SSC Class 10 Pass Mark Revised
Until 2019, the pass mark in AP SSC (Class 10) exams was 35. From 2020, the same rule is being applied. There is no minimum pass mark in each paper. It is mandatory to score at least 35 marks combined two papers. Students who fail to score a minimum of 35 marks will be declared fail.
Example 1: If a student secures 10 marks in Paper 1 and 26 marks in Paper-II, his overall marks will be 36. The student will be declared pass in the respective subject as he/ she scored only 36 marks together in Paper 1 & 2.

For each 50 marks paper, there will be 33 questions in total and 150 minutes time. Director of Government Examinations will make arrangements to supply 24-page ruled or dotted single answer booklet for the students to write the examination.
