AP TET Revised Schedule Released

Over the few days, confusion has been prevailing over the dates of AP TET 2017 examination. Already, the education department of Andhra Pradesh postponed AP TET to February 5 to 17, 2018 in the third week of January 2018. However, the state government has postponement the exam again. From the past week, a some of the aspirants have has been urging the AP HRD Ministry to postpone the TET exam at least by a month. A couple of days back, a few aspirants staged a protest at Kakinada Collectorate demanding to postpone the examination.

On January 12, 2018, the state government took the decision to conduct a separate paper for Language Pandits in AP TET examination. Paper III has been included in the TET exam and the state government directed the Language Pandits to register for Paper III examination. The date to submit the online application forms was also extended up to January 22, 2018.

Similarly, the state government has issued an official order allowing current batches of B.Ed and D.Ed students to register for AP TET 2017 exam on January 12. These candidates have been requesting the state government to postpone the exam, as they did not have enough time for preparation.

Last week, AP HRD Minister, Mr. Ganta Srinivasa Rao announced that there would be no change in the schedule of AP TET , and the examination will be conducted from February 5 to 15, 2018, in online mode. In the wake of protests and requests from students, the HRD Ministry postponed the exam.

Over 4 lakh candidates have registered for AP TET 2017 examination. According to the official schedule, the candidates were expected to download the hall tickets from January 24, 2018. However, there was no update on hall tickets or link to download hall tickets on the official website.
