Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2020 official notification is likely to be released in January. The last TET was held in May 2018. AP TET 2020 score is mandatory to appear for AP DSC 2020, i.e., Teacher Recruitment Exam. The government is likely to release the schedule for DSC 2020 in February. for the recruitment of teachers. AP government will conduct TET 2020 in online mode. There will be no written or pen and paper-based exam.

Eligibility Norms for AP TET 2020
- Candidates who will be applying for Paper I (for Classes 1 to 5) must note that the Intermediate is the basic qualification to appear for AP TET 2020.
- Along with Intermediate, the applicants must have Diploma in Elementary Education (D.Ed) degree from a recognised university or institute. Only those candidates will be eligible for Paper I exam of AP TET 2020.
- Candidates who will be appearing for Paper II (A) and Paper II (B) (for Classes 6 to 8) must note that Bachelor’s degree is the basic qualification to appear for AP TET 2020 Language pandits can also register for the exam in their main subject.
- Along with a Bachelor’s degree, the candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) from a recognised university or institute. Only those candidates will be eligible for Paper-II exam of AP TET 2020.
- Candidates pursuing a final-year D.Ed or B.Ed course can also register for AP TET 2020.

AP TET 2020 Application Process:
- The online application form can be filled through the official website of CSE AP or AP TET.
- The application fee is Rs. 500. If the candidates want to apply for two papers, they will have to pay an additional amount of Rs. 500.
