For the first time, Apple, a computer-based tech giant, is going to recruit students from International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Hyderabad. The campus placements at IIIT Hyderabad will begin from December 2017. So far, over 350 students from M.Sc (Research), B.Tech, M.Tech and B.E have registered for the campus placement drive. Apart from Apple, popular international companies like Google and Microsoft will also participate in the placement drive at IIIT Hyderabad.
Head of Placements at IIIT Hyderabad, Mr. T Devi Prasad revealed that they were surprised to get acceptance from Apple to take part in campus placements. Students and the institute are curious to know the kind of profiles that the company will be offering. Apple will enable the students of IIIT Hyderabad to showcase their skills before the representatives of the firm.
CEO of Apple, Tim Cook visited India recently and assured that the company would be making vital investments in India. Therefore, employment opportunities can be generated, as Apple is going to invest in India. However, the purpose of investment, motive and objectives of the company are still unknown.
This year, the placement season at premier institutes (IITs) across the country might host companies that will be offered roles in Automation, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

With the placement season beginning soon at all the premier institutes, students have been busy in preparing for interviews. Already, many institutes have conducted the preliminary tests to filter the students. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart Uber and so on are expected to offer attractive packages.
