Application process for NEET 2017 for undergraduate courses is expected to begin from January 2, 2017. The registration process for BDS and MBBS entrance test has been pushed back by over a month. According to the reports, CBSE – the regulatory body of NEET had announced in its Advisory Board meeting held on December 22, 2016, that the NEET UG exam will be conducted on May 7, 2017, across all centers in India.

In 2015, NEET application forms were released by CBSE in the month of December. However, NEET application process has been delayed by a month due to which the aspirants are worried.
According to a statement released by a CBSE officials, the NEET 2017 application process has been delayed because of some of the changes introduced in the application.
Candidates willing to apply for NEET 2017 will have to enter their Aadhaar Card number in order to complete their application process. This rule has also been implemented for JEE Mains 2017 by the conducting body CBSE.

Application forms will be filled online and the payment will be done through online modes in order to support and promote the Government of India’s cashless policy. Students who cannot make the payment through options like Credit Card / Debit Card can make the payment through ‘E-buddy’, i.e. a newly introduced online payment option.
NEET UG is a three-hour test that comprises of 180 multiple choice questions from Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
