Recently, Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the date for the admission to UG, PG, PGD and Diploma courses. Now, the aspirants can submit the online application on or before July 31, 2017. The varsity closed the registration process for Certificate programmes on July 15, 2017.

Application Process: -
- Visit the online admission portal of IGNOU.
- On the homepage of IGNOU, click on ‘Register Online’ tab.
- Click on ‘Register Yourself’.
- Enter all the required details in the columns.
- The candidates must enter the name that is mentioned in the Class 10 certificate.
- After the registration, the candidates will receive login credentials on the registered email and mobile number.
- Now, login to fill the online application.
- Select the programme.
- Choose the study centre.
- Now, enter the qualification details.
- Upload the documents and confirm the details.
- The final process is fee payment.
- The candidates can pay the course fee in online mode.
- Take the printout of application form for future reference.

After submitting the application, the candidates will get a call/ email from the regional study centre. Visit the study centre, collect the books, and complete the other admission formalities. The classes will be held on Sundays and holidays. The study centre will inform about the schedule later. If the candidates do not get any call/ e-mail after submitting the online application, they can contact the varsity through the helpline number or visit the study centre directly.
