The Andhra Pradesh State Skills Development Corporation (APSSDC) tied up with a reputed multinational company TCS to provide training for the Undergraduate Students to acquire employable skills. The training will be conducted at Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala, Vijayawada. The APSSDC has been operating from Vijayawada as it is under capital region. APSSDC is an initiative of Andhra Pradesh Government. It has been constituted to provide training for the students in various skills.
TCS will be providing training for the students in various skills. The candidates who excel in training period will be placed in TCS. The training classes will go on 40 days which will be commenced in the third week of July. The candidates who are pursuing a final year or completed UG with 60% of marks are eligible for the TCS training.
The APSSDC organizes mega job fair after the completion of the training period where more than 15 companies will participate in recruitment. So far, 4,600 students have been secured employment in various multinational companies through APSSDC.
