JEE 2025 New Syllabus: The announcement for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Mains 2025) has come along with some surprises. According to the official IIT JEE Mains 2025 notification, there are some changes in the exam pattern and the syllabus. Unlike the previous year, the JEE Main question paper will not contain optional subjective answers. Earlier, the paper included 10 single value-based questions out of which the candidate had to attempt only 5. However, the NTA has removed the excessive questions and reduced them to 5 only. NTA has not changed the negative marking of -1 marks per question in the new JEE 2025 syllabus.
New Changes in JEE Main 2025 Syllabus
The overall difficulty of IIT JEE Main 2025 paper is expected to increase after the recent changes made in the latest notification. The candidates must overlook the list of changes in the upcoming JEE Main question paper which will start on January 22, 2025. JEE Main 2025 New Syllabus: Subject-wise Chapters Distribution
The number of chapters in each subject is kept the same as compared to the JEE Main 2024 question paper. However, there are some sub-topics removed from each subject to reduce the weightage of the chapters and balance the unit-wise marks distribution in the JEE Main 2025 paper:
