Ashoka University (AU) has announced its first-ever Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for undergraduate students planning to major in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, or Computer Science for the academic year 2022-23. There is no quota for each round of admission, and scholarships will be granted to worthy candidates on a first-come, first-served basis in each of the four entrance rounds.

Eligibility for the Ashoka University Scholarship
To avail the Ashoka University, Merit Cum Means Scholarship candidates should have fulfilled the following conditions.
- Candidates should have obtained a verified offer of admission through the current holistic admissions procedure.
- Students then will be evaluated for eligibility to receive this scholarship based on their academic Cut-Offs for Class XII Board Marks or National Entrance Tests.
- The qualifications for screening based on Class XII Board Marks will be a score of 98% or more for ICSE/CBSE board students, an IB score of 41/42, or a Cambridge A*A*A grade.
- Adding to that, Students must also have a family income of less than 40 lacs per year (pre-tax) for the fiscal year 2021-22, as well as a Statement of Purpose (SOP) for pursuing the planned Science major at Ashoka.
Ashoka University Scholarship Process
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to apply for the Merit Scholarship based on the specified qualifying requirements. Candidates must submit a form together with a Statement of Purpose (SOP) and their parents'/guardians' most recent Income Tax Return to avail this Ashoka University Financial aid This application form will be available for five days.
