Andhra University bagged the first prize at the World Education Summit-2015 held in Delhi recently for its report on 'Enhancement of Employment through Skill Development'.
The participants discussed proposals on enhancing education both at the school and higher education levels.
“The meet was attended by more than 100 universities," said Vice Chancellor of Andhra University Prof GSN Raju, who was one of the panelists speaking on assessment, accreditation and evaluation of higher education at the summit.
The Vice Chancellor also thanked the university staff for their support and urged them to ensure better rankings in the coming years. “Our aim should be to break into the top 100 universities in the world, he told the staff.
There has been a demand of people to offer the university the status of Central University.
