Schools in Chennai, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur, Vellore, Cuddalore, Tiruvannamalai, Ariyalur, Villupuram, Nagapattinam and Tiruvarur districts remained closed on Monday (November 23) due to heavy rain.
Educational institutions in Puducherry and Karaikal also remain closed on Monday.
