School Holiday in Belagavi up to July 26: The district administration of Belagavi, Karnataka has announced the schools up to Class 12 remain shut for the two days on July 25 and 26, 2024 due to excessive rains in the region. The decision for the announcement of school holidays in Belagavi and other districts is expected to be extended further if the rains continue. The meteorological department has shared the list of districts with red and orange alerts of rain for the next few days. The people are warned to stay inside and only come out for important work.
Schools to remain shut in Belagavi for July 25 and 26 amidst heavy rains
The Deputy Commissioner of Belagavi, Mohammad Roshan shared the decision with the press that the schools for all classes up to Class 12 have to be closed as a precautionary measure due to the ongoing rains in the region. However, the school holidays in Belagavi can be extended considering the status of the course of the monsoon. The Deputy Commissioner added that the regional meteorological department has declared a yellow alert in the district for the next two days. The administration ins monitoring the weather conditions carefully and will share the next announcement by July 27.
