Only those candidates who have successfully submitted their college preferences will be considered for seat allocation. The admission list is prepared by BHU through candidates' scores in CUET UG 2023. Candidates seeking admission at Banaras Hindu University at the undergraduate level have to first apply for the BHU UG 2023 counselling. The seat allotment for BHU UG first admission round will be held online and those securing a seat have to report to the allotted departments for document verification in order to complete the admission process.

Candidates can follow the required steps to download BHU UG 1st Merit List 2023.
- Navigate to the official admission portal.
- On the homepage, click on the “BHU UG Merit List 2023” link.
- Aspirants must log in using their credentials viz application number, password, and captcha code.
- Check the first merit list.
- Download the BHU UG Admission Merit List 2023 PDF and keep a hard copy of the same for future reference.
During reporting to the allotted departments for admissions candidates must carry certain documents like BHU applications, CUET Scorecard, Class 10 and 12 mark sheet, Category certificate and PwD, and other certificates. Those who will fail to show the specified documents cannot get admission to Banaras Hindu University.
