Yet another case of misconduct listed under the name of Bihar School Examination Board ! According to reports, the Biology exam conducted on Tuesday, February 6, 2017 was leaked. The news of paper leak on the first day of the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) exams is quite shocking.
Bihar Education Minister Krishnanandan Prasad Verma has assured that the department will investigate the alleged leak. The Minister added that the culprits behind the leak will be identified and will be punished for leaking the question paper on social media.
Telling about the steps taken to find out the culprits, the Minister added that he had discussed the matter with the DM of Nawada and BSEB Chairman and they said that the examination was conducted under the strict regulation of the board and no reports of cheating came to light. Nevertheless, the matter will be properly investigated.

The report of paper leak came out while the DM of Nawada, Kaushal Kumar, was visiting one of the exam centres. The DM informed that the reports came out while the exam was in progress.
Apart from Biology, the Entrepreneurship exam was also conducted in the first shift from 9:45 am to 1:00 pm. The exam conducted in the second shift from 1:45 pm to 5:00 pm were Philosophy and Vocational Course (Hindi).

Close to 12 lakh students appeared for the Bihar Board exams on the first day. The exams were conducted across 1,384 centres spread out in Bihar. The Biology exam conducted in the first slot was leaked, however the other subject exams were conducted successfully.
