The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will digitally evaluate the answer scripts of Class X and Class XII students who took compartmental examinations earlier in November 2016. The government has taken this step to curb discrepancies in the results. Recent toppers and affiliation scam in Bihar made the board to take this step. It is a first concrete step to avoid bungling during the evaluation process.
According to the report submitted by the investigation team, the toppers of Bihar in 2016 board exam resorted to mass copying and wrote the exam leisurely after the examination time was over. They secured highest marks and stood as toppers. Hence, the government will evaluate the answer scripts of class 10 & 12 students digitally hereafter.
