Shubh Kumar, who is the Bihar topper, scored 99.99 Percentile in the JEE Mains 2020 exam. As per Shubh Kumar, he started preparing for the NTA JEE Mains exam from the year 2018 itself, just after finishing his 10th examination. However, Shubh did not let his JEE Main preparation become a hurdle in his 10th and 12th examination preparation. With his hard work and determination, he scored 97% in 10th, while qualifying his 12th with 95% per cent.
Giving the credit of his competitive exam success to his balanced preparation, Shubh Kumar, 17 years old, stated that the balanced preparation strategy helped me do well in JEE Main exam. After 10th, I started my preparation with more emphasis on the competitive examination. He further stated that out of the 12-14 study hours, he would spend around 6-8 hours for JEE Main preparation, while the remaining 4-6 hours would be for the board examination.

The 12th board examination will be starting on February 12th. Meanwhile, Shubh Kumar is also studying hard for JEE Advanced 2020 . He said that he is well prepared for his 12th boards and nothing would hamper his preparations. He further said that right now, his board examination and JEE Advanced preparation will go in line as a gap in the preparation can hamper my JEE advanced preparation.
Shubh Kumar wishes to pursue computer science from IIT Bombay for which, he is studying hard to get a good score.

Shubh mainly prepares for the competitive exam through the course materials of Vidyamandir classes, his coaching institute. Further, he also takes regular mock tests at the institutes for preparation.
