BITSAT 2017 or Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test began in online mode on May 16, 2017. According to the examination schedule, BITSAT 2017 online examination will take place until May 30, 2017. The candidates who qualify in the BITSAT 2017 entrance examination will have a chance to get admission in the Integrated Degree Programme of Engineering at any of the three campuses of BITS. BITS campuses are as follows:
BITS is conducting the BITSAT 2017 examination in 59 test centres across 47 cities. The online examination is taking place in two slots. The morning slot of the examination begins at 9:00 AM and continues until 12:00 PM. In the same way, the afternoon slot of the examination begins at 2:00 PM, and continues until 5:00 PM. Ever year, two lakh candidates take the BITSAT examination.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science made all the arrangements at the test centres. The institute displays instructions that must be followed by the candidates during the examination at all the test centres. On the first day, the officials at all the test centres permitted the candidates into the examination centre only after checking the admit card.

The candidates who wish to change their date and time of the examination can do the same through the official website. However, the candidates need to specify the genuine reason for changing the slot. Candidates can change the slot until May 25, 2017. The revised hall tickets will be available on the official website from May 26, 2017.
