Patna Women's College (PWC) has had many bright moments. They have displayed excellence in the recent sports meet.
PWC was declared the 'College of the Tournament' at an inter-college sports contest, 'Spardha 2016', organised at Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) on Saturday and Sunday.
The students, who excelled at the games, were Ahsutosh Kumar Pandey, Prakhar Katiyar, B Sarath Kumar, P Ajay, Aparna Vasu, Nidhi, Naina, Sonam Kumari Sharma, Pradeep Gogoi, Sonu Kumar, Gaurav, Roshan Kumar, Archana, Preeti Kumari, Tamanna Kumari and Sunita Kumari.
Along with them, at least 90 students from ten colleges such as NIT-Patna , CNLU-Patna, NIFT-Patna and A N College participated in the event which included games such as badminton, long jump and races.
CIMP director V Mukund Das inaugurated the event.
Seminar: A two-day seminar on 'Development and management of urban infrastructure in India: Growth, constraints and prospects' took place at Patna Women's College (PWC) on Monday.
Patna University's geography department head K N Paswan and Bihar Rajya Jal Parshad MD Shirshat Kapil Ashok addressed the students and spoke about misuse of resources in developing urban infrastructure.
